Dominique Davis

Dominique Davis is a black lesbian comic artist and illustration from Virginia, she graduated from SCAD in August 2020. She has been into drawing for a really long time since she always watched a lot of cartoons and anime as a kid, she didn’t get serious about it until she got to high school but ever since then she's be trying to improve my skills so that she can tell her own stories. For her, Representation is really important since there’s going to be very few chances for her to see characters or stories that are similar to her and her life but ultimately she want to tell fun stories with exciting adventures! She comes from a small family where it’s just been her and her parents for most of her life and neither of them really had dreams or a dream job, her mom has always been her biggest fan and supporter because of this and she hopes she can achieve her dream of publishing her own stories to make her mother and herself proud.
